my non-MP gamerscore will beg to differ.
"As the last enemy falls would be appropriate, although I bet we get an option to turn them off."
conversely, magic invulnerability while performing finishers amidst multiple enemies ruins immersion! so yeah, your proposed solution makes sense.
@TheMyst: true, you didn't say 'every'. but I still think your sentiment might be proven wrong come 11/11/11. :)
EDIT: (below)
I gave this a rental and found myself really liking it, overall. the lack of inventory space took getting used to. but another serious issue not mentioned above is enemy AI during combat. I found there to be a distinct lack of flanking maneuvers on the part of the enemy, which is really disappointing. other games like mass effect 2 don't allow me to just sit back behind cover and then lean out at my leisure for 1hit KOs via headshot (with my lowly PISTOL - even against armored opponen...
agree. see my above comment, righties calling out the left for something that meanwhile it's really the righties doing it. wtf, america??
that's exactly what I was thinking. effin righties LOVE to accuse the left of the things THEY do! 'scare tactics'? *smh* oh no, you never did that. *cough* 'DEATH PANELZZ!!!' *cough*
pardon my going off-topic, but what did you like about Singularity?
funny, I've seen several n4gers claiming they'll wait 1 yr for the GOTY edition, M_Prime.
@BiggCMann: EXACTLY, bubs+. a better title would be, "Future Gaming: Focus As Much on Gameplay As Graphics?"
so yeah, not sure how I feel about this either. we'll have to wait and see, won't we?
Hardcore mode was interesting but in the end still had its own flaws. I kept hoarding ingredients for campfire crafting until I had a huge stockpile, only to find it too easy to just to have Nash's lady in Primm make me those radscorpion cakes, and basically never have to worry about FOD again. guess it's hard to get the balance just right, especially in a large openworld setting?
troll elsewhere, you prude. I hate fools that pretend the thousands of 'real' @sses they stare at but will never tap are legit but a virtual representation of @ss = no-no.
2. Saints Row
"Whatever its done, GTA has done before and better."
I think you're forgetting about the tunes there. Not only does Saints Row have overall better tunes (IMO) and greater variety, it also lets me listen to whichever I want, whenever I want thanks to the in-game 'mp3 player'. WITH the ability to import the playlists on my 360 hd. ...and did I mention there's no need to be in a vehicle to listen?
am I the only one with standards? videogame faces are fugly, for the most part. the human eye has evolved to detect A LOT of subtlety in facial expressions. games have a long way to go and of course will always be restricted by the talent of the artists making them.
smh at YOU, n4g. shame, shame.
no, I will not "[give your] article the time and effort of carefully reading every detail". j3sus, learn how to write proper English if you want to be a journalist. else how can I respect you/your writing?
"my belief... was stating a fact..." lol, which is it? a 'belief' or a 'fact'?
well, he/she got it right in the source article, "ARE Sony Shooting Themselves in the Foot?". lol that when he/she submitted to n4g they suddenly got the tense wrong.
EDIT: and now the source article title has been changed altogether. prob a good idea.
^yes and kahjit are looking good from what I've seen so far. IMO the more humanoid faces are looking their usual ugly selves, though. same old bethesda.
actually, same old videogames. (with a few exceptions, ex: Mass Effect = decent, often).
@bobrea: don't let the ignorant masses b@st@rd1ze your language bro! educate others when u see misuse!
bad enough that the history-deniers have turned the word 'theory' (as in the 'theory' of evolution) into a mockery...
and what about MK? I can't be the only one to have sunk hrs and hrs into perfecting special moves, combos, fatalities...
my optimal, complete ending is when I 100% the achievements. which will NOT be possible without MP.
